Our founder, Aleesha George, grew up in the small village of Palankara in Kerala. Passionate about education and equity, she was deeply impacted by the number of tribal girls in nearby Nilambur who dropped out of school due to financial hardship. When Aleesha began her PhD at Cornell University, she felt a strong desire to give back and use her position of privilege to create change.
This inspired the launch of Adopt-A-Future, an initiative to support girls' education from 4th to 10th grade through financial aid and enrichment workshops.
To empower tribal and underprivileged girls in Kerala through access to education, financial support, and engaging learning experiences in science and English.
